By car - Ettalong is 83km North of Sydney (around a 90 minute drive) and 97km away from Newcastle (1hr
and 20 minute drive).

From Sydney head north on the Sydney – Newcastle Freeway. Take the Gosford /WoyWoy exit, through
Kariong and turn right at the second set of traffic lights (immediately after the Shell Service Station on your right
hand side). Follow this road down the hill, (beware the speed camera), over the railway line and to the traffic
lights (Blackwall Road) – turn right. Follow Blackwall Road around the mountain, passing a few commercial
shops & service station until you come to a roundabout (Memorial Road) – turn left – take the second
turn to the right into Picnic Parade (Resort sign at this intersection). Follow Picnic Parade to the shops and turn
left into Ocean View Road.

From Newcastle - driving south along the Sydney - Newcastle Freeway from the intersection of the New
England and the freeway at Beresfield. At Somersby take the Wisemans Ferry Rd exit on your left, heading for
Gosford. Proceed along Wiseman Ferry Rd. Turn left at Central Coast Freeway. Turn right at the third set of
traffic lights onto Woy Woy Rd, Kariong. Follow Woy Woy Rd down the hill and across the railway line. Bear
right at Rawson Rd, Woy Woy. At the roundabout turn right onto Ocean Beach Rd, Woy Woy. Turn left at
Bourke Rd, Umina. Follow Bourke Rd, until it meets Memorial Drive. Turn right into Memorial Drive.

By bus - Bus 53 from Woy Woy Station gets you to Ettalong Beach. Click here for bus timetable details from

By ferry - A regular ferry service runs every day from Palm Beach to Ettalong Beach. The Ettalong Beach
Wharf is a short walk, no more than 3 minutes to Cinemas, restaurants and markets and a further 5 minutes to
